Governance Overview
Principled Leadership, Chapter Continuity, and Public Accountability
The GAUF De La Salle Triskelion Alumni Association, Inc. is the organized alumni home of Tau Gamma Phi Fraternity and Tau Gamma Sigma Sorority members whose chapter roots trace to Gregorio Araneta University Foundation, now GAUF De La Salle University. Its governance exists to preserve chapter identity, sustain service, and carry brotherhood and sisterhood forward across generations.

Structure & Organization
Governance at a Glance
Four pillars form the public-facing architecture of how the Association is structured, led, and accessed.
01
Organized Alumni Body
The Association formally unites alumni of Tau Gamma Phi Fraternity and Tau Gamma Sigma Sorority from the GAUF chapter. Membership is open to alumni who trace their initiation to the GAUF chapter lineage, and who carry Triskelion values into their professional and civic lives.
02
Board and Officers
Governance is exercised through an elected Board of Directors and a set of principal officers. Together they set the direction of the Association, oversee programs, steward resources responsibly, and represent the collective interests of the alumni body.
03
Committees and Working Groups
Standing committees carry out the operational work of the Association — covering membership, programs and service, heritage and records, communications, and chapter welfare. Working groups are convened as specific initiatives require.
04
Public Correspondence and Membership Path
Inquiries from prospective members, partner organizations, and the general public are received through the official Association email. A formal membership application process is in place for qualified alumni who wish to join or affiliate.
Values & Standards
Triskelion Guiding Principles
Six principles define the character of Tau Gamma Phi and Tau Gamma Sigma alumni from the GAUF chapter. These are not aspirational slogans. They are the standards by which the chapter has always measured itself.

01
Brotherhood and Sisterhood
The bonds formed within the chapter are not ceremonial — they are foundational. Triskelion alumni carry these ties forward: across careers, across cities, and across decades. Brotherhood and sisterhood mean showing up for one another long after campus life has ended.
02
Responsibility
Every alumnus carries the chapter's name. Responsibility means acting with integrity in public life, honoring commitments made to the Association, and understanding that individual conduct reflects on the fraternity and sorority as a whole.
03
Accountability
Leaders within the Association are accountable to the membership. Decisions are made transparently, resources are stewarded honestly, and the governance structure exists to serve the alumni body — not to be served by it.
04
Continuity of Chapter Memory
The history of the chapter — its founding members, its officers, its milestones — belongs to every generation. The Association takes seriously the obligation to document, preserve, and transmit chapter memory to those who join the alumni body in the years ahead.
05
Discipline and Conduct
Triskelion standards apply beyond initiation. Alumni are expected to uphold the discipline of the fraternity and sorority in professional life, in community engagement, and in their conduct as members of this Association.
06
Pride in Achievement
The accomplishments of Triskelion alumni — in careers, in community service, in civic leadership — reflect the quality of what the chapter builds in its members. This Association celebrates achievement as an expression of chapter values, not merely personal success.
Heritage & Continuity
Chapter History and Continuity
The GAUF chapter story spans nearly five decades — from founding through active campus life, into a mature organized alumni community.
1976 – 1977
Chapter Beginnings
Roots at Gregorio Araneta University Foundation
Tau Gamma Phi established its chapter at GAUF on October 15, 1976, planting the fraternal tradition that would define a generation. Tau Gamma Sigma followed on August 20, 1977, completing the Triskelion presence on campus. These were not simply club formations — they were the beginning of a chapter lineage that would endure for decades.
Late 1970s – 1980s
Growth Through Batches
Officers, Initiates, and the Building of Tradition
Through successive batches of brothers and sisters, the chapter developed its own culture, its own officer traditions, and its own rhythm of campus life. Each cohort added to the institutional memory — programs organized, events led, and values passed from one graduating class to the next.
1990s – 2000s
Alumni Formation
The Chapter Carries Forward Beyond Campus
As GAUF chapters matured and alumni entered professional life, informal networks formed among those who had shared the Triskelion bond. Career support, civic engagement, and reunion gatherings sustained the chapter spirit beyond graduation — laying the groundwork for a formal alumni structure.
Present
Organized Alumni Community
The Living Triskelion Alumni Body
Today, the GAUF De La Salle Triskelion Alumni Association, Inc. serves as the formal home for this community. Membership spans multiple professions, industries, and generations of alumni. The Association carries forward what the chapter began — brotherhood, sisterhood, service, and pride in a shared origin.

These two dates mark the beginning of a chapter tradition that would shape alumni for generations to come — and continues to define the character of this Association.
Leadership Beyond Campus, Impact Across Generations
What begins in a chapter room does not stay there. Tau Gamma Phi and Tau Gamma Sigma alumni from the GAUF chapter have carried their values — discipline, service, loyalty, accountability — into every sphere of Philippine professional and civic life.
The Association does not merely catalog this impact. It actively cultivates it — connecting alumni, recognizing achievement, and ensuring that each generation of Triskelions from GAUF benefits from the networks and wisdom of those who came before them.
The record of chapter impact is maintained in the Association's institutional memory — not as a marketing exercise, but as a living testament to what the chapter produces and what the alumni body continues to build.
Impact Themes
Where Chapter Values Live
Officer Development
Chapter leadership cultivated decision-making, accountability, and organizational skills — qualities that alumni carry into management, civil service, entrepreneurship, and civic roles.
Programs and Milestones
From campus activities to alumni-led initiatives, the chapter has organized programs that demonstrate the depth of its membership and the breadth of what brotherhood and sisterhood make possible.
Recognition and Awards
Triskelion alumni have been recognized in their respective fields — not as anomalies, but as natural outcomes of the values instilled through the chapter.
Community Outreach and Service
Service to community has always been a chapter obligation. Alumni continue this through NGO work, civic volunteerism, professional pro bono engagement, and community development initiatives.
Mentorship Across Batches
Senior alumni mentor younger ones, bridge batches, and sustain the chapter's living network. This cross-generational continuity is one of the Association's most meaningful functions.
Public Accountability
Public Governance Commitments
These are the standards by which the Association holds itself accountable — to its members, to the Triskelion community, and to the public.
I

II
Responsible Stewardship
Resources entrusted to the Association — financial, organizational, and reputational — are managed in the interest of the alumni membership. Stewardship decisions are made with transparency and subject to the oversight of the Board.
III
Disciplined Representation
Officers and members of the Association represent the fraternity and sorority in public. The Association expects and enforces a standard of conduct consistent with Triskelion values — in official capacities and in private life as alumni.
